How credits work
What are OpenAI Credits?
Credits power From Photo cloud analysis for artworks in your collection. Each successful From Photo analysis uses 1 credit.
Buy packs in the app under Settings → OpenAI Credits, or when From Photo prompts you to purchase.
What packs are available?
- 25 Credits — $0.99
- 100 Credits — $2.99
Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases through the App Store. There is no subscription for OpenAI analysis.
Do I need my own OpenAI API key?
No. App Store builds do not use bring-your-own-key. Analysis runs through Yur Art’s secure service, and you pay for usage with credit packs.
What does analysis suggest?
From Photo can suggest title, artist, category, medium, year or period, dimensions, condition, a rough USD estimated value for insurance or personal records, provenance notes when evidence exists, and a short summary. Values are comparable-market estimates — not certified appraisals — and you review everything before saving.
What stays free?
Enter (manual artworks), browsing, editing, and export remain free.
Apple Intelligence Full Access will be offered in a future update on supported devices.
Where do my photos go?
When you use OpenAI credits for From Photo, the selected photo is sent to Yur Art’s analysis service and then to OpenAI for suggestions. You review every suggestion before saving.
